I
will be showing in my very first art show on March 11th at the Community Arts Collective and boy am I nervous... hahahaha! I say nervous but it is more like little butterflies waiting for anticipation of the day.
I like to think of myself as a "people" (life-style) photographer with a journalistic twist to where I shoot to not only release the creativity that have have within but to see the great reaction on a client's face when they see their final prints. That's what I live for. So displaying my photos in a place other than my home, studio or clients home is...new to me.
With all that being said...I have always loved photo-booths and anytime I see one I have to take pictures. So I decided that my theme for the art showing would be resemble to a photo-booth but of a few great women in my life that have been an extreme influence on me and the way I am today. Keep in mind that I had to say a few because...Jason Seth (the curator of the showing) limited me to only 10 framed images that I could show and of course many women (young and old - living and deceased) have had great influence on my life.
For those of you that are available, myself along with the other photographers (I'm sure) would love if you came to our show opening.
♥,
C'na
